I just had to send you a thank you from the bottom of my heart for your heartfelt message tonight. Know
that it was heard. Sometimes I feel like church messages are meant for me and this one I feel was. God
put you in my path so I would realize that I need to work on making the choice to give it to HIM. With
your message I felt the strength to do it and want to thank you. I know it is hard to give up time with your
family in order to feed our souls but know you touched mine and at the time I needed you most!
Thank you for being such a beautiful person with a warm and large heart. I really am glad that my time
away from my husband and son was well spent tonight. Thank you again for sharing your story and your

opportunity to put that “slow to anger” thing into practice. Thank you for reminding me that Jesus’ love is
perfect and only in Him can we love in such a way!

Hi CJ, I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for your talk today. I feel that it spoke to me in such a
huge way. After dealing with an eating disorder for years and basically having a dysfunctional relationship
with food, I am beginning the journey of healing. Needless to say your testimony hit very close to home and
I appreciate your courage in admitting that you too have dealt with these feelings. I think that for many
women it is too scary to admit, especially to other women, that they have issues with their body self image.
Hopefully, today planted a seed in some of their lives.
I grew up thinking that the most anorexic girls were beautiful and strived to look as such, and it is still
something I struggle with daily. I thank you for giving me some of the tools Biblically to combat this. I
think your talk touched the hearts of many ladies today, but if not, know that it touched at least one, mine.
