| Blessed is she who believes God is Faithful… Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep. O Lord, you preserve both man and beast. How priceless is your unfailing love! Psalm 36: 5-7 It looks like the end of world! The sky is glowing red, the mountains are on fire, and smoke and ash lay so heavy in the air that we can’t breathe. In every direction we look there is fire, fear, destruction and death. And yet… I know that I know our God is faithful. His word teaches that God brings beauty from ashes. I believe that what the enemy meant for harm, God will bring good from. You see there is no flame of destruction so high that it can outreach God’s faithfulness. God will never stop loving us, He will never break His promises to us, He will always be with us, He is reliable and trustworthy… even in the midst of disaster. I believe that He will bring good out of this disaster. No matter what we may encounter in life God’s covenant of love with His people will never falter. Maybe fire is not the disaster you are facing… maybe you are experiencing illness, divorce, death of a loved one, problems with children. Can I encourage you that no matter what you are facing God is faithful? His mercy’s are new every morning, His love for you is eternal and it is His desire for you to know that He is with you during this time in your life. He wants you to know that He wants to comfort you and to hide you under the shadow of His wings. Look for Him and you will find Him in the midst of the trial you are facing. Press in close to Him, ask Him to reveal His goodness to you during this time, ask in faith, believing that He will answer your prayer in accordance with His will. Most of trust that no matter what the situation or the impact it has on your life, God is in it and He will bring you bring you beauty from the ashes. Trust in His faithfulness. Blessed is she who believes God is faithful. For those of you across the country who have been watching the fire disaster in California and have been praying… thank you! One of our staff members, Ann, did have to evacuate her home as the flames raced toward their neighborhood. The firefighters made a courageous stand and all the homes on their street were saved. Due to air quality, all school is canceled so our prayers are for the air to clear of the smoke so that we can all breathe easier. Our prayers continue to be with the people who have lost loved ones, homes in this disaster. Our prayers and praise are also with the first responders, the Firemen who have so valiantly fought for each home as if it were their own. We pray God protects them as they put their lives on the line. Thank you God for the faithfulness of these amazing men and women. |
